Towards innovative road cycle gloves for low vibration transmission

Abstract This research activity aims to develop new cycling gloves. A first step was focused on the definition of functional requirements through user centred design methods. Since vibrations coming hand-arm system a cyclist have considerable effect second concentrated analysis in road cycling. The paper shows results laboratory tests executed for three different hand sizes, frequency ranges, with two type gloves and without Load conditions used test were determined former field test. Results obtained analysed using Analysis Variance (ANOVA), that showed no significant existing reducing vibration transmissibility. led need kind could reduce those increase cyclist’s comfort.
